Rust: Console Edition is a brutal multiplayer-only survival game developed by Double Eleven for the PlayStation 4, where the only objective is to stay alive in a hostile environment. You begin with nothing but a rock and a torch on a mysterious island, forced to manage hunger, thirst, and health while scavenging materials to build shelter, craft weapons, and protect yourself from wild animals and other players. The game is a harsh social experiment with up to 99 players per server, where you must decide whether to form alliances or betray others to steal their loot, all while knowing that servers periodically wipe, resetting everyone's progress.​ Despite its "Rating Pending" status, this game is recommended for ages 17 and up (ESRB Mature equivalent for blood, intense violence, and online interactions with strangers).
